Working out will not cause you to drop 30lbs, there are so many other factors that go into weight loss. But, here is the cool part, working out will help you gain confidence, gain strength,
gain swollmates, gain happiness and kick depression in the face, gain peace in a world full of stress, gain self care, gain self respect, and gain a better relationship with those you love!
I think I want more gains than losses on my side :). Then, add a healthy diet, and there is no stopping you.
