Welcome to my FREE 4 Week Plank and Pushup Challenge! This is for beginners thru advanced and starts November 7th and goes thru December 2nd. You will alternate doing pushups one day and planks the other. I will have tons of options so everyone can take on this challenge! Here is the schedule and how it will work. -Initial assessments of your plank and your push ups to see where you start -Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday= Plank Days -Monday/Wednesday/Friday= Pushup Days -Saturday= Rest or Retest! Initital Assessment is how many pushups you can get in 60 seconds with good form and how long you can hold a plank with good form. Then each day you will try to add 5 pushups to your initial number, and plank for at least 5 seconds more each day. PLANKS are awesome because not only do they strengthen your rectus and transversus abdominis (your abs), they also work your: Trapezius, rhomboids and erector spinae (your back) Deltoids and rotator cuff (your shoulders) Serratus anterior and pectorals (your chest) Quadriceps (front of your legs) Gluteus maximus (your booty) PUSH-UPS are awesome because not only do they strengthen your serratus anterior, pectoralis major and minor (your chest), they also work your: Rectus and transversus abdominus (your abs) Rhomboids and erector spinae (your back) Deltoids and rotator cuff (your shoulders) Triceps brachii (the jig on the back of your arm) Quadriceps (front of your legs) Gluteus maximus (your booty).
